Quant Network CEO outlines plan for the Overledger Fusion Network
Gilbert Verdian, CEO of Quant Network, has announced the Overledger Fusion, a new layer 2.5 multi-chain roll-up network.
The 2.5 layer is a first in the industry, used to replace existing layer 1s and layer 2 networks, which hints at layer 3s in the near future.

For Quant, the new layer will utilize the QNT token to power and secure the network, with institutions and businesses needing QNT to make actions on the layer.
It’s clear that Overledger Fusion will be the start of a new era for Quant Network as the layer 2.5 network aims to roll out by June 2025 in a phased delivery, with each release adding features to the multi-faceted network.
From Gilbert Verdian:
Overledger Fusion marks the beginning of a new era: a universal, multi-chain Layer 2.5 designed to make public blockchains enterprise-ready and mainstream.
Overledger Fusion will be multi-chain, making Quant Network’s Overledger technology accessible across existing layer 1 networks in the crypto industry.
The QNT token in Quant’s new era
Fusion will address certain issues in public blockchain adoption that Quant Network believes can be beneficial for institutions.
Fusion aims to provide tools for businesses to protect transactions from public viewing, provide regulatory compliance procedures, and offer interoperability mixed with scalability.

Recent news of the European Central Bank’s adoption of Quant Network for testing reignited interest in the QNT token, which has been put on the back burner by many investors.
Since the announcement of Overledger Fusion, QNT’s token price has surged over 10%. Over the last 30 days, QNT is up 41% and has held strong alongside Bitcoin’s recent all-time high jump.
