Interactive Brokers Expands Crypto Offerings With XRP, ADA, and DOGE AllinCrypto March 27, 2025
International brokerage firm Interactive Brokers plans to launch new cryptocurrency assets for trading including Ripple’s XRP, Solana, and Cardano (ADA).
The move comes as institutional financial firms warm up to crypto trading and onboarding services with exchange Crypto.com forming a partnership with Trump Media for crypto ETF and ETP launches in 2025.
XRP, ADA, SOL, and DOGE will join Etheurem, Bitcoin, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash, existing cryptocurrencies on Interactive Brokers which clients are able to acquire.

Ripple XRP, Solana, Cardano, and Dogecoin are joining existing cryptocurrencies on Interactive Brokers, allowing clients to invest in various top altcoins, including the memecoin, DOGE.

Partners of Interactive Brokers will also gain access to the assets including Paxos Trust Company and Zero Hash with existing Zero Hash clients gaining the ability to trade all the new tokens.
Paxos clients will be only able to trade Solana. Interactive Brokers is a host to clientele from the US and UK, allowing them to trade crypto alongside traditional stocks and derivatives.
The announcement of the new cryptocurrencies was made in an Interactive Brokers press release on March 26, 2025.

Clients of Interactive Brokers LLC (IB LLC) and Interactive Brokers (U.K.) Limited (IB UK) can seamlessly access crypto trading on the same platform they use for stocks, options, futures, currencies, bonds, mutual funds, and more across 160+ global markets
Clients will be able to make crypto spot positions, use leverage, and open crypto futures and options, benefiting from a display that combines crypto and stocks.
Steve Sanders, EVP of Marketing and Product Development at Interactive Brokers believes the addition of new altcoins on the platform will give their clients more flexibility and diversity, allowing investors more opportunities
Crypto options enhanced for institutional clients
According to Interactive Brokers, the platform offers some of the lowest ever trading fees on cryptocurrency assets, less than centralized exchanges such as Coinbase and Binance.
Commissions on the platform enter a range of 0.12% – 0.18% of trade value, with a minimin fee of $1.75 for orders.
Clients trading cryptocurrencies are also able to trade crypto 24/7, place non-marketable limit orders, and withdraw their crypto to external web3 wallets. Interactive Brokers first introduced crypto trading in 2021 with Bitcoin and Ethereum.
The platform expanded to the United Kingdom in 2024 before debuting trading services on the Taiwan Stock Exchange in 2023.
