Technical Patterns Show Hedera (HBAR) Is Due for a Major Breakout AllinCrypto April 14, 2025
Hedera Hashgraph (HBAR) may be on the edge of a new, major breakout as technical patterns line up in the form of a falling wedge.
Chainlink’s CCIP on Hedera mainnet combined with Hashgraph’s HashSphere, a private, permissioned network for institutions launching later this year will serve as fundamental catalysts.
Let’s break down Hedera and why the charts are eyeing a new breakout soon as the network heats up fundamentally, heading into the middle of the year.
HBAR looks prepared to break out in a big way
Since the impact of Trump’s global tariffs, the stock market and crypto have both fallen with TradFi stocks taking the hardest hits.
In crypto, Bitcoin faltered under $80k along with other top altcoins. As of April 14, 2025, Bitcoin has regained a lot of its strength with alts following close behind.

For Hedera, we can see a nice falling wedge being formed on the charts, signifying that selling pressure has subsided to form a new bottom from which continuation can leap from.
A falling wedge is a commonly used financial technical analysis pattern to show where, and when a new reversal might take place.
With HBAR, the momentum behind its recent price depreciation has slowed with momentum now being allocated upwards.
Once Hedera pushes through upper resistance, we should gain solid confirmation that a new breakout is on our hands and we will see that reflected with upward price appreciation on the chart above $0.17.
On a new breakout, we may witness HBAR surge back to its most recent local highs around $0.38 and above.
Hedera’s 2025 fundamentals: HashSphere, CCIP and more
Decentralized finance on Hedera is on the move with Chainlink’s CCIP (Cross-Chain Interoperability Protocol) being introduced to HBAR’s mainnet.

CCIP will allow HBAR’s blockchain the ability to connect with other CCIP networks, including Ethereum and Avalanche, growing Hedera’s DeFi features and capabilities. Since Chainlink’s partnership with Hedera back in 2024, the realization of CCIP on HBAR is a big deal.
Outside of Chainlink, Eminem, and Dr.Dre producer Frank Nitty have confirmed a big project will be coming to Hedera, possibly related to the existing web3 streaming platform Tune.FM.
We’ve also had the announcement of HashSphere, a new private network connected to Hashgraph, intentionally designed for institutions, tokenization, and stablecoin usage for big business transactions.
HashSphere is due to launch sometime in 2025 and will change the HBAR ecosystem substantially, possibly leading to increased interest in the HBAR token, despite it not being a part of HashSphere itself.
