IDTrust from The Hashgraph Group Integrated into MENA Smart City AllinCrypto October 16, 2025
The Hashgraph Group’s IDTrust solution may become one of the most impactful innovations of the Hedera ecosystem.
Built using Hedera Hashgraph’s distributed ledger technology, IDTrust is a self-sovereign identity solution designed to help give individuals and organizations full control over their digital credentials with decentralization.
By allowing users to authenticate, share, and verify identity information securely without relying on centralized databases, IDTrust is able to enhance privacy and trust in digital ecosystems without users needing to relinquish data to centralized authorities.
BEEAH Group: Leading Sustainability and Innovation with The Hashgraph Group
With its high throughput, low cost, and immutable consensus model, Hedera Hashgraph can provide the ideal infrastructure for deploying SSI systems at a large scale.
Hashgraph’s IDTrust leverages HBAR’s attributes to offer a verifiable, decentralized identity layer that can be used across industries, including healthcare and finance.

The BEEAH Group, headquartered in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, is an organization in environmental management, sustainability, and smart city innovations. Created in 2007, BEEAH has expanded from a waste management firm into broader areas such as renewable energy, green mobility, digital transformation, and smart city infrastructure development.
BEEAH has been a regional leader in integrating new, innovative technologies to achieve sustainability goals and improve regional urban living standards.
Under the Hashgraph Enterprise Program, BEEAH Group has integrated IDTrust across its ecosystem in Sharjah, a major breakthrough for The Hashgraph Group’s products, which also include TransAct, EcoGuard, and TrackTrace. The Signing Ceremony of the integration occurred on October 15 in Dubai.

BEEAH will make a unified framework for digital access and identity management across multiple sectors, including sustainability, technology, real estate, and healthcare.
By embedding IDTrust into its ecosystem, BEEAH can enhance its own data security, streamline previously complex verification processes, and enable new forms of digital collaboration.
The integration of IDTrust comes after The Hashgraph Group’s CEO, Stefan Deiss, endorsed Switzerland’s electronic ID (e-ID) initiative, which passed via a citizen vote.

Hedera x Khalid Bin Sultan City Project
A highlight of this integration is the Khalid Bin Sultan City. The region is an urban development in Sharjah designed by Zaha Hadid Architects. This city will be the first smart city to implement Hashgraph’s IDTrust product.

Residents, businesses, and government services will be able to interact securely through decentralized identity credentials, allowing seamless access to utilities, healthcare, education, and property management, all powered by Hedera’s network.
In the future, IDTrust will scale across more projects and cities outside of the MENA region, whereby Hedera could likely witness a surge in on-chain volume tied to its identity verification links and credential issuance.

The integration of IDTrust via the Hashgraph Enterprise Program shows Hedera’s increasing appeal to major enterprises, including government-backed initiatives.
Anchoring identity, access, and verification on the Hedera network, The Hashgraph Group has found new ways to expand Hedera’s utilities in products for real-world use cases outside of tokenization.
